Conductor Decertification

The
following is a list of violations
that will result in de-certification
of the conductor. Begins January 1,
2012.
1) Prevent your train from running a
stop signal. The duty may be
met
by warning an engineer that he/she
is about to run a stop signal.
(2) Prevent your engineer from
exceeding the speed limit by 10 mph.
The duty may be met by warning an
engineer of a potential or
foreseeable violation.
(3) Failure to perform or have
knowledge that a required brake test
was
performed.
(4) Occupying main track without
permission. The duty may be met by
warning an engineer of a potential
violation.
(5) No tampering with mounted
locomotive safety devices by
engineer or conductor.
(6) Shove move causing reportable
accident/incident.
(7) Leaving car(s) not in the clear,
causing reportable
accident/incident.
(8) Run through switch, (you caused
it), causing reportable
accident/incident.
(9) Fail to restore main line
switch, causing reportable
accident/incident.
(10 Fail to restore cross-overs,
causing reportable
accident/incident.
(11) Fail to properly line derail,
causing reportable
accident/incident.
